LUIS SALGADO
(Ensemble; Latin Assistant Choreographer) Moved to NY in 2002 dreaming of achieving his passion of performing on a Broadway stage. As of today, Luis has performed in shows like The Mambo Kings (Frankie Suarez), Fame on 42nd Street (Joe Vegas u/s), and Aida among others. Film Credits includes: Step Up 2 The Streets (Alejandro). Dirty Dancing 2 (Diego Luna's Dance Double), Enchanted, Across the Universe, American Gangster and The Great Observer. In 2007 Luis choreographed the musicals Serenade and The Drop Outs in NYC and co-directed/choreographed the original show Mezcla in Peru. Luis has been able to assist choreographers like Maria Torres in the film Enchanted; Jamal Sims in the film Step Up 2 the Streets and is thrilled to be representing his culture as Latin assistant choreographer in this amazing musical hit. Luis co-produced his own DVD "Latin Fusion with Luis Salgado" and is the director of Revolucion Latina - Be at Your Best!, an artistic movement that celebrates the lives, careers, triumphs and existence of all Latino artists in and out of the New York Performing Art Community.
