Seeing this play it brought me back to those memories growing up in washington heights. Every character reminded me of a family member or the neighbor. From the piragua guy to the chimes in the salon. Laughters, Tears and a trip back home all in the reach of my seat. Best Broadway Play!! Que dios los bendiga y siempre pacienca y fe!

Go to NYC a couple of times a year and have seen dozens of shows there, but nothing has come close to 'Heights'! Saw it in NYC in July '09 with much of the original cast. What great talent! Although Miranda had moved on, what a prodigy. Hands down, best show on Broadway in a long, long time! The music, lyrics, the book -Will make you laugh and cry. Have tickets for the Pittsburgh tour. Hope the cast is half as good!

In the Heights is the best show I have ever seen! I learned so much more spanish by seeing this show than in the time I was learning it at school. I have seen ITH twice and am seeing it for a 3rd in just a few weeks. Mandy Gonzalez and the rest of the cast are just amazing and I cannot wait to see the show again!!

When I went to New York this summer I had the choice of seeing any show currently running on Broadway. I decided on "In the Heights" after listening to the soundtrack hundreds of times and falling in love with the story and the music. Seeing the show, especially with a handful of the original cast, was one of the most incredible experiences I've had in a theatre. I've seen Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, the Lion King, Shrek, Mamma Mia, Spamalot, and the Drowsy Chaperone, and I can say that I enjoyed this show even better than all the others. The music is driving and exciting, the dancing is out of this world great (seriously, it's really REALLY good), the lighting and staging is BRILLIANT(!!!), the singers are FANTASTIC, and the whole show is just all in all a wonderful WONDERFUL show!!! I laughed, I cried, I sang along, just an incredible experience overall, I can't say enough about how amazing this show is! If you're in New York, or going to it, or even if the tour is coming your way, DO NOT MISS IT!!!! The finale gave me goosebumps for hours!!!

It doesn't get much better then this. Fresh, fun and full of flavour! What an amazing show, it has the kind of musical score that you can listen to over and over and over again brilliant! Each actor and actress held their own and delivered sensational vocals all night! WOW this is the show I dream of being in own day!

This was the most amazing performance I have ever seen. I have seen it twice and enjoy it more each time I see it. The next time I am in New York, I will definitely see it again. The actors are incredibly talented. The show is funny and meaningful. It highlights the importance of family, friends and community.

The first time I saw this show was a year ago and I fell in love. I brought back my family to see it with me a second time. I love everything about it: the music, dancing, the story line....the show is overall AMAZING! Oh and not to mention the soundtrack is addicting. The show made me laugh and cry; can't wait to see it again!

All we can say is "WOW!!!" We grew up in Washington Heights so this was a memory trip for us. We had great time. Thank you you all for a wonderful production. We have friends and relatives we can identify with each character. We were amazed and wondered how a 19 year old can see, feel and emotialize all this in his mind and in in his heart. Genius. Gracias por el viaje. Que Dios los bendiga.

I saw the "sneak peek" of the touring show in gainsville. I am part of a theatre tech club in tallahasse and one of the members parents is friends with the lighting designer of the show so we got to gainsville almost three hours before curtain. I got to go backstage and see the all the amazing lights, sound, props, set, and costumes. It was like I was a kid in a candy shop. I loved it. After the backstage tour we went into some side room, I was sitting ther talking to one of my friends when out of the corner of my eye I see Lin-Manuel walk across the front of the room. I swear my stomach dropped 10 feet into the ground. He talked about the process of the show and how it was all put together. After he was finished talking I was so excited that I had to just ask him a question, "What was it like being so young and winning a Tony?". I have no idea where that question came from. After that I went into the theatre with excitement beyond belief. The show beyond amazing, it gave me goosbumps every second (the good kind). After the show, We stayed to hear the cast talk and such, and that was just as exciting. I was so grateful to be a part of the kick off show for the national tour. I wish them all good luck and break a leg!

I just saw a Latin Music Heritage special on PBS that inspired me to look up this musical. After watching the promos and being of Puerto Rican descent,I will be making plans to see "In The Heights" even it means driving to another state because Oklahoma City, OK is not on the tour. Thanks for giving me something to look forward to this year!!

We thought In the Heights was phenomenal. Having grown up in Washington Heights all my life, I felt this musical was very close to a lot of our dreams. I kind of related to Nina. I cried during her performances because I related to her character---I really did. It's funny, but I wonder how many of us spared our parents the truth because they worked so hard to give us a better life. Vanessa was also a character I related too, boy did I want to leave "The Heights" too! In the end, I never did. It is what I knew and it never really bothered me because like Usnavi it was my real home. Lin-Manuel, who would have thought seeing you dance on that Hunter College Elementary'High School stage you would be such a sensation. Congratulations to you and all your gifts.

I have seen this show 12 times and it just keeps getting better every time. Quiara Hudes who wrote the book for "ITH" said on the PBS special, "This show is like a magnet that all these hearts get stuck to and it won't let go." That is truly what has happened to me. The emotional connection to the characters has something for everybody and then there is the amazing score and choreography! The energy in this show will keep your heart dancing for years to come. You don't have to be Latino to enjoy it - all you have to have is desire to find what "home" means to you! Congrats to Lin and the entire cast and creative team for changing the face of Broadway and for bringing a smile to my heart!

I first saw "In The Heights"when it played off broadway. I saw it two times with different family members. We all truly enjoyed it then. I then thought that the play was BROADWAY material. Several months later, it was on BROADWAY. I then saw it on Broadway and I was again fascinated by it. This play is so great, I will see it again. This time, I will take my husband to see it. Congratulations to Mr. Lin Manuel Miranda and the entire cast.

Ya era tiempo! It's about time someone created a Broadway show with a Latino cast. When I first saw In The Heights I was mesmerized. The music, singing, dancing, acting were all first rate. From the beginning to end, this musical is vibrant and full of energy. The cast is wonderful especially Karen Olivo, who's voice is astounding. We need more musicals like this- filled with vibrancy and exhilarating! I highly recommended and I intend to see it again.
